BBC THREE, is the third entertainment (British Broadcasting Corporation) network TV channel and was launched on the 9th of February 2003.
The channel was originally created under the name of BBC choice in 2002 but was recreated to take on a mass of extra programmes attracting a target audience of 16 to 34 years old such as dramas, comedies and documentaries including Gavin & Stacey,  Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Ron Howard’s Good News and Our War.

The most viewed programme on BBC THREE TV Channel according to January 2015 statistics was Six Puppies And Us.

It has been confirmed that BBC THREE shall cease broadcasting by the autumn in 2015 and plans are to make it a plus one catch up channel. However, there seems to be many opposed to the idea and a petition has already started and gained more than 275k signatures to keep the channel broadcasting.
